Journal entry: Lost track of time Month of May
We spent a lot of time in San Jose and I got a job offer from a friend in London, England working in a hostel. Well better yet, we will turn an apartment into a hostel. I will speak about this later on....Attila suggested that we should check other regions of Spain. We left the southern warm weather of Andalucia to the cold celtic world of Castilla y Leon in the ancient wall city of Avila.
Avila had a northern european feel than southern Spain. We found a cheap hotel room, no hostels in the area. I even think we were probably the only guests on the 2nd floor of this hotel. We went out to find no tapas bars, just some local cafeteria. Nothing special, the food was bland with hardly no flavor. Is this Spain?
We spent about two days in this town. We decided to this journey as far North up into Galicia. We got a phone call on Attila's cell phone. Theresa from Germany wanted to meet up with us. The only problem, she was in Barcelona. About a good 10 hour train ride. Will she actually come along all this way to see us?
