Journal Entry: Lost time, Month of May

Salamanca! a university town northeast of Avila towards the Portuguese border. This town was beautiful. We found a hotel room in the main plaza.

With Theresa's presence it made the trip even more enjoyable. Nate and Theresa didn't have the spark in their so calle relationship as they did back in Germany. In any case, we as a group of friends took this time to have fun by drinking beers and walking around the city.

What we didn't know was the Theresa was in Barcelona on vacation and from Barcelona, she was planning on taking off to visit her parents in Seoul, South Korea for a few months. I guess she wanted to say her last good-byes to us. And from what we didn't know was that her father called her to tell her that he knew that she was not in her hotel room, which he paid for. Shit!

Theresa tried to explain to her father why she had left her hotel room and she felt bad letting him down. She quickly got over it. During her visit, none of us mentioned how we will ever meet up again.

The second night in town, we decided to head up into Galicia to the city of Vigo. Theresa told us that same night that she will need to take the train back to Barcelona and leave for South Korea. This was a sad night. This will probably be the very last time we will see this beautiful frauline.

Theresa! if you can read this, thank you so much for your friendship. Thank you for inviting us into your life, thanks for the many good times at Zirbels. Thank you for being you. Theresa. stay beautiful!
